SOME 1,500 fishermen will continue to oppose the proposed Penang South Reclamation Scheme (SRS) near Teluk Kumbar as it is deemed a danger to their livelihood.
Saying the project would put sand into their ricebowl, Penang Fishermen Association chairman Nazri Ahmad said they would continue fighting for their rights.
