BENTONG: Two hundred pupils from low-income households here received back-to-school aid. Their parents lined up at Taman Kolej’s neighbourhood field to get the free school bags, uniforms and stationery for the new schooling term starting Jan 2.

Organised as part of Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) corporate social responsibility efforts, the pupils were part of the power supplier’s “Back To School TNB 2018” programme in Pahang, where 1,400 pupils from seven areas comprising Bentong, Cameron Highlands, Jerantut, Kuala Krau, Kuala Lipis, Pekan and Rompin would receive the aid worth RM200 each.
