KUCHING: Sarawak’s aim to improve Internet speed and accessibility to support its digital economic agenda has received a shot in the arm with the completion of TM submarine fibre-optic cable project.

Telekom Malaysia Bhd’s (TM) submarine cable system, spanning 3,800km with state-of-the-art 100Gbps technology that connects the peninsula with Sabah and Sarawak, has an initial capacity of 4Tbps and capable to be upgraded to at least 12.8Tbps.
