Minister: Combining pineapple and coconut industries will help take business to greater heights

PONTIAN: The merger of the coconut industry under the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) will be able to benefit both industries, said Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.

He said combining the coconut industry with pineapple shows the government’s confidence in MPIB in expanding and taking the industry to new heights.
