IF you have a wish to make this festive season, just head over to the Aspen House in Macalister Road, George Town, Penang, where a Magical Wishing Wall is ready to make your wish come true.
The public can pen down the relevant information and name the desired recipient on the wishing cards before pasting them on the wall.
The move is part of property developer Aspen Group’s effort to welcome Christmas under its corporate social responsibility initiative.
Aspen Group president and chief executive officer Datuk M. Murly said the initiative was to remind the community of those in need.
“Through this, we get to help the underprivileged.
“This is a way to cultivate a caring community.
“We encourage people to make thoughtful wishes so their cards will stand a better chance to be selected by the management,” he said.
The wishing wall will be there until Friday.
Besides the wall, the wishing cards can also be found at 22 selected restaurants and cafes in Penang.
The management will choose several cards which will be entitled to a Christmas gift between Dec 20 and 25.
The group’s corporate headquarters has turned into a Christmas wonderland.
This year, the Christmas decorations take the shape of giant presents with fairy lights cascading from each tree in the office compound.
Aspen Group has extended its My Aspen Deposit campaign until tomorrow.
Under the campaign, only a 5% downpayment is required and a guaranteed professional grant of up to RM20,000 is offered.
Eligible purchasers are also entitled to a RM5,000 IKEA gift card, a free iPad and waiver of SPA legal fees upon purchase of selected property.
