Artist creates life-size sculpture with cellophane tape and recycled paper

VISITORS looked on curiously as a mysterious humanoid came to life, one sticky piece at a time, at the Hin Bus Depot in Penang.

Neither man nor machine, the figure had a translucent skin made from cellophane tape, and ‘muscles’ of crumpled old papers.
