About 200 Lion Club members, volunteers and students took part in a mangrove tree planting ceremony at Sungai Tiram, Lekir in Sitiawan.

ABOUT 200 people took part in a tree-planting event at Sungai Tiram in Lekir, Sitiawan.

Consisting of Lion Club and Lioness Club members in Sitiawan, Manjung and Ayer Tawar, the event also saw the participation of volunteers and students. Some 1,000 mangrove trees were planted on Oct 28.
