MELAKA: Melaka Zoo and Night Safari is now focusing on becoming a community-oriented zoo in its stride to attract more visitors and instil a sense of ownership of the zoo among the local community, said its chief executive officer R. Raja Segran.

Towards this end, he said the zoo had lined up several plans and programmes, such as hands on live-feeding and interactive visits to transform the zoo into a perfect place for a family fun time and recreation to enhance the visitors’ experience.
