State to focus on its northern borders

MIRI: The northern border regions of Sarawak-Brunei and Sarawak-Sabah will be given specific attention by the Sarawak Government to harness the vast untapped agricultural potential in both of the areas.

Sarawak assistant agriculture minister Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail said the state government was setting up a Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA) to plan new agriculture projects for these border outposts.
