TREES are being planted on both sides of the new third bridge spanning Sungai Kelang as a natural approach to filter dust, carbon dioxide and as a sound barrier.

Klang Municipal Council (MPK) secretary Adi Faizal Ahmad Tarmizi said more motorists were using the bridge and the council decided to plant trees that would help improve the environment, produce humidity, act as a sound barrier and lend a touch of nature at the urbanised location.
