OLYMPIC silver-medallist Goh Liu Ying will be one of two special guests at the “Fit and Foodie Carnival 2017” to be held at IJM Land sales office in Seremban 2 tomorrow.

She and Masterchef Celebrity Malaysia Season One winner Datuk Fazley Yaakob will share their thoughts on fitness, healthy living as well as tips on cooking.

IJM Land senior general manager (central region) Datuk Hoo Kim See said the event was part of the company’s initiative to promote healthy living and teach people to de-stress.

“We are truly grateful to our special guests for agreeing to join us and help promote balanced living in all aspects of life, including work, fitness and health, and emotional well-being,” he said.

At the carnival, to be held from 9am to 6pm, visitors will also be able to sample delicious food and take part in interactive games and contests.

“Activities like these are carried out every year with the objective of fostering unity, reuniting friendship and promoting healthy community living among Seremban 2 residents and other Seremban folk,” he said.

Visitors will also be able to take part in the Ms and Mr Fit Fashion Icons and the Best Jazzercise Dance contest which combines aerobic exercises and dance fitness.

Another highlight of the carnival is the lucky draw for up to 30 buyers of IJM Land properties.

Potential buyers can also take part in a promotion where they will be eligible for extra rebates when buying any IJM Land property.

The organisers, in collaboration with Locks of Hope, will be holding a hair donation campaign to help make wigs for cancer patients, as well as a blood donation.
