Malaysia and Singapore conduct emergency drill on highway


The joint exercise simulated an accident involving a truck carrying 20 drums of hydrochloric acid and a car transporting four passengers who were “injured” due to the accident on the Second Link Highway.

GELANG PATAH: Malaysia and Singapore will continue strengthening their cooperation to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of emergency response agencies from both countries.

Towards this, Department of Environment (DoE) and National Environment Agency (NEA) Singapore conducted the 11th emergency response exercise, a plan to tackle a chemical spill at KM1.3 of the Second Link Highway here.
