KOTA KINABALU: An elderly diabetic was in dire need of medical attention one day, but none of his relatives could spare the time to take him to the hospital as they were too busy with work.

Another case was of a woman who had an asthma attack but her husband did not call an ambulance or use a ride hailing app as it was peak hour and he feared it would arrive too late.
