THE Education Ministry has channelled RM88mil in schooling aid to 1.41 million students in Penang this year, said its secretary-general Datuk Seri Alias Ahmad.
He said three categories of aid – common aid, special aid and one-off aid – were given to students from 399 schools in the state to ensure they get access to education.
