A DAP assemblyman has called for the surrounding areas near a Hindu temple and a mosque on Penang Hill to be cordoned off temporarily until the completion of recovery and restoration work following landslides on the hill during the recent storm.
R.S.N. Rayer (DAP – Seri Delima) said public safety was most important and the state “cannot risk lives anymore”.
