SAMSUNG Malaysia Electronics is offering free repair services until the end of the year for Samsung products damaged in the recent floods.

The offer available until Dec 31 at selected service centres in Penang and Kedah covers cleaning, inspection and repair, subject to the availability of spare parts.

It is applicable only to residents in flood-affected areas such as Pulau Tikus, George Town, Bayan Lepas, Batu Ferringhi, Sungai Puyu, Balik Pulau, Bukit Mertajam and Butterworth in Penang and Kampung Masjid in Kedah.

For repair of in-home products such as television sets, washing machines, refrigerators and air- conditioners, customers are first required to call Samsung’s care line at 1800-22-8899 (for mobile devices) or 1800-88-9999 (for other products) to make appointments.

In a statement, Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Lee Sang Hoon said the Samsung Flood Relief Campaign offered repair services, inspection, cleaning and replacement of parts.
