Caution urged in flood-prone areas

THE STATE government has identified several areas that are prone to landslides and flooding and is urging the public to be cautious whenever they are in the areas.

Perak Public Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy and Water Committee chairman Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharuddin said the Gerik-Jeli, Tapah-Ringlet, Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands, and Ijok-Sumpitan roads are prone to landslides and soil erosion.
