FLOOD victims seeking relief at evacuation centres were never short of hearty warm meals to make them feel at home, thanks to the unsung heroes working behind the scene.

Among them are soldiers, Civil Defence Force and Rela personnel who have been spending almost entire days at makeshift kitchens at these centres since incessant heavy rain caused widespread floods in Penang last weekend.
