A 5km walk on the blind side


More than 19 different clubs participate in the program and the majority of the volunteers are high school students and college students who are eager to learn and experience the methods to help this group of disabled people. RAJA FAISAL HISHAN/The Star

IN CONJUNCTION with International White Cane Day, Lions Club International and Malaysian Foundation for the Blind (MFB) hosted a morning walk to raise awareness in Brickfields.

About 300 people including MFB staff, volunteers and the visually impaired walked for almost 5km that led them around Tun Sambanthan KL monorail station and Brickfields area.
