Johor to help raise standard of English in rural schools


JOHOR BARU: One hundred primary and secondary schools in Johor will receive assistance from the state government to improve the standard of English among teachers and students.

State health, environment, education and information committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said most of the schools were located in Johor’s rural areas.
