Fruit tree planting campaign now reaches out to schools

AFTER the success of the “One Village, One Fruit Tree” campaign in Chinese new villages and kindergartens, the Negri Sembilan MCA Youth has turned its attention to schools.

Its national Youth legal bureau head Ng Kian Nam said apart from educating students on the benefits of growing fruit trees, the campaign was also aimed at getting them to consider agriculture as a career.
