Rainwater harvesting gaining traction


The Lions Club of Subang Jaya helped set up a rainwater harvesting and irrigation system at the Subang Jaya Community Youth Football League that operates out of SMK USJ 4 field.

WATER is a precious and important commodity that is crucial to life but often taken for granted, especially in the Klang Valley.

Those living in Selangor are provided with 20 cubic metres of free water since 2009 and in some households, taps are left running, even when not in use while washing a car, porch, dishes or even in the bathroom while washing one’s hair or having a bath.
