THE MANUFACTURING sector in Perak is expected to receive a shot in the arm as a pipeline supplying natural gas to the Kinta Valley is expected to be ready in the third quarter of 2019.

Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Perak Chairman Datuk Gan Tack Kong said, after years of lobbying the Federal Government for a natural gas pipeline in the Kinta Valley, the completion of the infrastructure project will be welcomed by manufacturers in the state.
