Strong winds wreak havoc in Miri

A truck pinned under a tree that was uprooted following strong winds.

MIRI: The city council here issued a warning to residents and the public to be wary when near tall structures after ferocious winds of between 50km/h to 60km/h battered Miri city for the second day running.

Since Thursday, fierce winds have been damaging roofs of buildings and bringing down trees and billboards.
