MAF volunteers Fathia Mohamed (left) and Rosliani Osman helping Thevesh (second from right), Haridev and Krishen Raj (middle) with their shopping.

SEVEN-year-old friends S.Thevesh, A. Haridev and V. Krishen Raj had a Deepavali to remember when they were treated to a shopping trip by volunteers from the Malaysian Aeon Foundation (MAF) in conjunction with the Festival of Lights.

The three were among 130 children aged between five and 16 from poor families in Seremban who each received RM200 to shop at Aeon Mall in Seremban 2 and treated to games at Molly Fantasy, an indoor entertainment centre.
