KUCHING: In its quest to become an internationally-acclaimed university, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) has identified three niche areas of focus for research.

Its vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi said the areas were biodiversity and environmental conservation, sustainable community transformation and information, as well as communication and creative technology.
