THE 1,530 inmates at the Penang Remand Prison in Gaol Road were not forgotten this Deepavali.
The Malaysia Hindhudharma Mamandram, led by its Penang branch chairman V. Nanda Kumar, handed over packets of homemade muruku and other snacks to the prison’s deputy director Mohd Suhairi Awang.
