IT was a whole new experience for some 60 preschoolers of various races as they took part in an early Deepavali celebration at Sri Muniswarar Temple in Jalan Baru, Prai on the Penang mainland.

The children, aged between three and six, were from Tadika Langkah Pertama. They all showed up in traditional Indian finery.
