Various groups work together to celebrate Deepavali with performances and merriment

THE crowd filled the hall of the Sri Kandaswamy Kovil in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur for the Deepavali Cultural Nite with anticipation, and they did not leave disappointed.

It was a cultural feast from the word go, with a high-tea comprising traditional delights such as puree, vadai, kolkatta and muruku, as well as performances that highlighted the community’s rich heritage.
