Fostering friendship through teamwork in junior kolam contest

ELEPHANTS in various colours and designs were the order of the day during the Junior Kolam-Making Competition.

Organised by the Straits Quay Retail Marina in conjunction with Deepavali, the event saw 30 children aged between seven and 12 making the kolam or known as the Rangoli kolam using colourful dyed grains of rice and other ornaments.
