A RUNNERS club has voiced its objection towards the recent move by Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) to ban the consumption of alcoholic beverages at playgrounds.

Penang Hash House Harriers veteran runner Gurdial Singh (pic), 58, said the ban would affect almost 1,000 of their members who usually gather at public areas like playgrounds for some drinks after a run.
