Pupils given tips on fire safety in Lopeng

MIRI: Children from two kindergartens and a primary school participated in an educational visit to the Lopeng Fire and Rescue station.

Among the activities conducted during the visit were seminars and demonstrations on fire safety.

The children were taught proper ways to control and hose down a fire.

Additionally, the children were brought on a tour around the Lopeng Fire and Rescue station and get acquainted with equipments used by the firefighters.

The institutions involved in the visit were Tadika Pejuang Kelulit Bekenu, SK Pujut Corner and Tadika Astana.

Over 200 students, teachers and parents from the three schools participated in the educational visit.
