THERE has been a sharp increase in dengue cases in the state compared with last year, Perak Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said.
Dr Mah said a total of 4,794 cases including 10 deaths were reported throughout the state until Sept 23, compared with 2,863 cases and nine deaths during the same period last year.
