Tengku Permaisuri Selangor calls for more humane way to care for animals at awards

“OUR vision to achieve developed nation status will fail to materialise if no proper instruments are put in place to mitigate the predicament of stray animals,” Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin said.

In her speech at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor Appreciation Awards 2017 in conjunction with World Animal Day, she said it was time for a more humane, proactive and holistic approach to dealing with stray animals.
