MIRI: Neighbours, teachers, classmates, cousins, siblings and close friends must be the “ears and eyes” for the police and welfare authorities and alert the authorities if they have information on children being sexually abused.
They must not keep silent and should immediately alert the police if they hear about or witness such forms of sexual victimisation, said Sarawak Minister for Welfare, Women and Family Development Datuk Fatimah Abdullah.
