MODERN gadgets like portable electronic magnifiers or large print watches have made life a little easier for the blind and visually impaired (BVI).

Visitors to St Nicholas Home (SNH) Penang’s 7th annual charity carnival were able to get a closer look at these gadgets. They were also able to learn a bit about braille.
