PENGERANG: The community service order programme by the Government since 2008 had been successful as many young offenders turned over a new leaf, said Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.
She said a study d by Universiti Utara Malaysia revealed that 95% of the 653 respondents, who had completed or were currently undergoing the community service order, agreed that the programme was effective.
