Port steps up efficiency after case of ‘missing‘ container


JOHOR BARU: The Tanjung Pelepas Port (PTP) has taken steps to improve its command and control process and strengthen their communication following the case of a container carrying high-tech military radar mistakenly thought to have gone missing from the port.

Johor Port Authority (JPA) general manager Muhammad Razif Ahmad said the incident where the consignment from Australia had reportedly gone missing after being detained at the port for lack of documentation, was just a case of miscommunication.
