MIRI: A do-it-yourself (DIY) festival titled ‘Miri City’s MakersMeet 2017’ will be held on Sept 30.
The event is organised by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri and is supported by Miri Local Agenda 21 and Curtin University, Malaysia.
Activities will take place in and around the library’s vicinity from 8.30am to 6pm. The event is supported by Miri Local Agenda 21 and Curtin University, Malaysia.
It is open to public with the objective of providing an opportunity to DIY enthusiasts to share their skills and knowledge with the general public as well as instilling an interest for DIY projects.
Among the activities scheduled at the event are DIY Pallet Furniture, DIY Video Capturing, DIY Compost Fertilizer & Home Garden, DIY 3D Design & Printing, DIY 3Doodler, DIY Makey Makey, DIY Stingless Bee Breeding, DIY Hairdo, DIY Hijab Stylista, DIY Felt & Ribbon Headband, DIY Felt Keychain as well as exhibition and sales booths.
The event is a preview to the MakersMeet 2017 which will be organised by Pustaka Negeri Sarawak in Kuching on Oct 21 and 22.
