Tough times for Little India traders

TRADERS in Ipoh’s Little India area say they are suffering losses due to “outsiders” organising carnivals especially around Deepavali.

Little India Traders Association President B. Kala said since foreign traders started to organise such carnivals several times a year, the sales of the association’s members have dipped by between 50% and 60%.
