Malaysian Siamese athletes honoured

ATHLETES from the Malaysian Siamese community, who won medals in SEA Games 2017, were feted during the Public Sector Siamese Club’s gala dinner at a hotel in Alor Setar, Kedah.

Saritha Chamnong, 29, from Pengkalan Hulu, Perak, won a gold medal for archery (compound women’s event) while Jupha Somnet, 24, from Chuping, Perlis, won two silver medals in the 102km Road Race and Criterium 40km and a bronze medal in the Track Omnium events.
