Hospital holds first fire drill

KUANTAN: KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital recently held a fire drill to test the efficiency of its emergency response team (ERT).

The exercise started with a mock small fire after a boiler exploded on the 11th floor of the building in Tanjung Lumpur, which “injured” three of seven staff members on duty. The other four tried to render assistance but suffocated from the smoke.
