MIRI: A deadline of three and a half months have been set for piped water supply to be connected to a group of about a thousand resettled-squatters in Kuala Baram district who have been using rainwater for their daily needs.

These 373 families now living in the Tudan Desarus Squatter Resettlement Scheme, 25km north of Miri, have been without treated water supply because of the prolonged delays in the piping link to the main water supply grid.
