Joint effort needed for education

KUCHING: The state government is counting on cooperation from all elected representatives from both sides of the political divide on ways to overcome its dilapidated school buildings and to improve student performance.

Education, Science and Technological Research Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin Jawong said all suggestions and proposals from 82 lawmakers are open for deliberation, as the state looks to improve quality of the learning environment for students.
