ONE of Malaysia’s fastest rising property developers, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld) is set to showcase its maiden project in Penang, EcoTerraces at Star Property Fair 2015 today.
Located in Paya Terubong, the freehold 5.18ha (12.8 acre) EcoTerraces will be a 32-storey luxury condominiums with 333 units.
The size of the spacious units are 1,100sq ft, 1,300sq ft, 1,500sq ft and 1,900sq ft.
A unique selling point of the project is the high percentage of the land for the amenities, water features and other natural elements to offer a serene and therapeutic lifestyle for its residents.
EcoTerraces will also incorporate an existing on-site natural waterfall to create a visually arresting vista of cascading pools and water features.

Other projects under the developer’s belt include EcoMajestic – spanning 434.2ha (1,073 acres) of prime freehold land in the heart of fast-growing Semenyih, Selangor which is EcoWorld’s largest eco township in the Klang Valley.
The EcoSky in Klang Valley is a 3.8ha (9.6-acre) freehold integrated commercial development located in Jalan Ipoh in Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur. It comprises of three residential towers as well as retail and office lots.
The 248.4ha (613.8acre) EcoSpring and EcoSummer in Tebrau, Johor, will see clusters and semi-detached houses, and terraced houses respectively.
The EcoBotanic in Nusajaya, Johor, is a 109ha (270acre) premium gated guarded township featuring cluster, semi-dees and bungalow homes. Nestled within the EcoBotanic township is a collection of exclusive low density freehold apartments named EcoNest with superb amenities.
Meanwhile, the EcoBusiness Park III in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is a 100.3ha (248-acre) business development designed based on a brand new 4-in-1 business hub concept that synthesises retail, office, showroom and factory into one highly synergised secured development.
Apart from developments in Malaysia, EcoWorld also has projects in London, United Kingdom and Sydney, Australia.
EcoWorld is a public-listed Malaysian company involved mainly in property development.
It has entered into several major acquisitions, which will increase the Group’s landbank from 401ha (991 acres) to approximately 2,001.5ha (4,946 acres) and grow its total gross development value (GDV) to RM55.03 billion.
Through these acquisitions, EcoWorld is set to gain an immediate enlarged and active presence in the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Penang with 14 projects in total and an expanded product range comprising affordable, upgrader and luxury homes, integrated high-rise developments and green business parks.
