THE Education Ministry ruffled a few feathers in Sarawak with its stand against English-medium schools.
According to the ministry’s written parliamentary reply as reported by an online news portal recently, it is apparently unlawful to use English as the medium of instruction in national schools because this violates Article 152 of the Federal Constitution as well as the National Language Act.
