Appreciating simplicity in Rasa

Most locals travel either on foot, by bicycle or motorcycle in Rasa’s slow-paced village life. — LOW LAY PHON/The Star

A sleepy village that is easily missed is the best way to describe this hidden area in Hulu Selangor called Rasa which some might have driven past without noticing.

This is exactly what photographer Low Lay Phon and I learned when we visited this quiet small town where everything seemed to move in slow motion compared to neighbouring towns such as Kuala Kubu Baru, Serendah, Bukit Beruntung or even Ulu Yam.
