Rawang’s story of old buildings and new roads

THE biggest turn of events in Rawang this year would be the tearing down of the Kampung Datuk Lee Kim Sai Hall that had doubled as the Selayang MCA branch office for 40 years.

As a last-ditch attempt to save the hall, party members used themselves and their vehicles to form a barricade against the enforcement officers from Gombak Land Office and Selayang Municipal Council moving in to demolish the building.
