KUALA TERENGGANU 18 August 2016: BTB (Bukit Tok Beng) is one of already well known keropok Lekor, or to some, it may be known as fish fritters, fish sausages or fish sticks which are made of processed fish meat mixed with salt and sagoo flour are a great afternoon snack for the people in Terengganu. The hand rolled sausage shaped, about seven inches long, deep fried, has also become a sensation and craze among the people out of Terengganu.zabidi tusin/the star/kuala terengganu

From a small, sleepy and almost dead fishing village, Seberang Takir has now turned into a famous and sought-after destination for those visiting Terengganu.

Villagers here have turned to cottage industries such as producing the famous Terengganu keropok lekor, batik printing, and salted fish, all done manually, to make ends meet. The latest addition — providing scrumptious and affordable seafood at “Dapo Pata” (Dapur Pantai), or beach kitchens is also increasingly popular.
