Temple marks its 85th anniversary and birthday of Baby God

THE Sian Chye Tong Temple in Penang celebrated its 85th anniversary in a grand manner with a parade of 20 colourful floats and sedan chairs.

The 10km procession started from the foot of Penang Hill and passed by Jalan Air Itam, Jalan Thean Teik, Lebuhraya Thean Teik and Jalan Paya Terubong before returning to the temple in Hye Keat Estate.
